Test of EDI messages
Before a gas supplier can use EDI-based communication, his EDI-based system must be tested and approved. Testing of the communication messages takes place through a web portal developed by Energinet.dk: www.ediport.dk.

New gas suppliers may still choose to postpone the use of EDI-based communication for a period of up to 18 months after given the status "active" on the Danish market.
